Bilic has balls
He didnt have to go public and be direct to media about what actually was said between him and Payet.

He could have made a smokescreen and sorted a transfer to get things done.

Instead he fronts Payet as illoyal and disrespectful. Payet didnt see this coming and is now trying to back over the story with a fake injury and personal problems.

Payet an Marseille are loosing this, both financially and publically.

I love the way Bilic has dealt with this so far. Sent him out out the team, accused him for being a "cunt" and demanding him to come back and fulfill his contract.

Im suppose he will be sold, but at our price not Marseille's

Re: Bilic has balls
Seems pretty simple to me

Marseille bit low for him and he wants to leave. The club didn't want to sell and especially for the low amount. This public announcement puts him in the shop window whilst saying we do not want to sell in the hope it drives the price up.

I expect him to leave for around £25m very soon.

I really hopes this galvanizes the team and tomorrow the players turn up with a chip on their shoulder full of spite towards Payet. Win it for Bilic & turn the season around.
Might actually be a good thing for the club.

Payet has let our club down in the worst possible way.
He will go down as a judus money grabbing piss taker at West Ham and rightfully so.
He's great moments mean fuck all now.
Slaven Bilic has handled the situation very well,he doesn't deserve any where near the shit many have spouted on here.
Big game tomorrow.
Support Slaven and our players or fuck off.

Anyway. None of it really matters, it's just conjecture. Whoever's in the right or in the wrong, it'll be played out to a conclusion in the coming weeks, and almost certainly be an unpleasant ride for anyone who supports West Ham.

Re: Bilic has balls
VH. If you take the event in isolation, then yes, you’d could say it’s them doing what they should do and letting the manager have his head on an important decision.

The question is, do you think that Bilic was also given his head in the decisions that got us to this point? If yes, then it’s only right that when those decisions lead to the untenable situation we have now, he should be the public face of the fallout.

If, on the other hand, you think that the board undoubtedly had a large part to play in it, their sudden and uncharacteristic decision to let him publicly ’do it his way’, after half a season of doing it very much in private, smacks of setting him up to take the fall.

Thanks; so what you are saying is the board sanctioned Bilic to act as the mouthpiece and make the decisions he felt necessary.

That's as it should be.

Re: Bilic has balls
The owners have been cashing in off his back...payet this..payet that.
Just look at the shit bowl with the cringey payet shit.
Bilic giving him special treatment.

They have both made a rod for their own back..allowed Payet to become bigger than the club.

Re: Bilic has balls
Should have nipped this in the bud as soon as he missed a single training session. The only reaction to that is to drop him immediately......anything else would cause huge issues.

Anyone would pander to a 20 - 25 million pound asset.

With the backing of the owners Bilic has stated that Payet has made his stance and we are the victims of his agents greed

Now it is about damage limitation, Payet is an asset that needs to be cashed in.

That unfortunately is the way it is.

Come off it mate..the club and Bilic have been pandering to Payet at cringeworthy levels.
Now its biting them on the arse...because the geezer doesnt give a fuck..and never did.

i am hoping that it was only Payet that was being stroppy cunt but i think there are a few others that are creating a toxic dressing room

if Payet is their for the match against Palace i hope he understands English

Re: Bilic has balls
This sort of stuff is normally kept away from the punters, It goes on all the time and Bilic airing this to the media is a calculated decision.
Can't blame the owners and can't blame the manager or the club. It is was it is and will be dealt with. The owners are not mugs and it will be sorted.

PS. Unless the whole 'he's staying' thing is a front for bargaining purposes? But I doubt it.

“Whatever way you look at it, I an 99% sure Payet isnt playing again for us!”

I think that’s where the real problem is going to come. The board, via their mouthpieces, have said their intention is to force Payet to see out the rest of the season. To me, that’s a ridiculous idea.

Even if the problems had been kept quiet, he was already out of condition, jogging through matches, staying clear of tackles etc. and that’s with a supposed mutual agreement in place that he could leave at the end of the season. What would he be like for the rest of the season, if we refused to let him leave now? But now the cat’s out of the bag, how the fuck is his staying even possible? He’d be booed from the minute he stepped on the pitch.

He’s finished here. And the board either have to let him sit at home eating Big Macs until the season’s over, so they can have some pyrrhic victory in the battle of wills with him and his agent, or sack him off now to the highest bidder.

Re: Bilic has balls
Like previous posters, I just wonder if this ha been one of the reasons that we have been utter dog s**t this season. We obviously have a world class player on his day in Payet but if he has been lording it up in training and being a bit of a prima donna, its going to affect the rest of the team.

Slav coming out and saying what he has done hopefully is a nod to the rest of th tea,.

Whatever way you look at it, I an 99% sure Payet isnt playing again for us!

That's Payet shown where he stands, now just the rest of the team to sort!

Re: Bilic has balls
If you've ever been a manager, even a mediocre one, you'll know the best way to manage someone who doesn't want to be part of the team is to effectively get them and their disruptive attitude away from the workspace so the team can get back on track.

Bilac clearly has someone who doesn't want to be part of the team and is exercising his free will to display these conditions - no matter how good you are, you simply can't convince someone like that to see reason/change their mind.

You only have to look at the Brexit or Trump threads on this site to see perfect examples of such an attitude.

If Payet was pissing everybody off, but scoring a double hat-trick every game he could probably get away with it, but he's only mastered the pissing everybody off bit, so can't.

Re: Bilic has balls
Doc. I believe it. Because it’s not come out of a clear blue sky. We’ve already had half a season of the board keeping it quiet and trying everything they can think of to change Payet’s mind. Without success.

Like I said earlier on, it’s a shrewd move, from their perspective. If things work out for the club and Bilic on the strength of it, they can take the credit for backing the manager. If it all goes tits up, they’re blameless because, as they’ve made very clear, it was Bilic’s decision.

100% in agreement with the OP, Payet has shown himself to be a first class cunt with his petulant attitude, good on Bilic for telling it like it is.
